"The corporate voice is the most dominant voice around," says artist and culture-jammer Robin Collyer of the logo-laden urban landscape. "Ads use text to lie or embellish." Not one to be lied to or have his own voice drawn out in the ubiquity of corporate media messages, he decided to fight back.

Since 1992, Collyer has been taking photos of string malls, gocery-store aisles and urban street corners - anywhere what corporate insignias and ad copy might wallpaper his filed of view.
After scanning the images he uses Phtoshop to remove the text from teh pictures, thereby exposing how form, shape and color are used in combination with words to convey a singular corporate message. As he explains it, "Branding is more than the simple identification of the product."
