Aaaaaand scene.

That's a piece I'm calling Two Months Twenty Five Days, or An Uninspired Eric Writes No Blog, or Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

All the comment love is certainly appreciated - once I realized that the site is being used for work, law school and medical school distraction I felt I had to re-emerge. In case there is another hiatus, however, here are a few other recommended sites to pass the time:

1. BoredAtWork.com - Hit and miss, but still a good list of quickie distraction links.

2. 101 Amazing Earth Facts - Facts. About the Earth.

3. Fowl Words - Incredibly addicting. Has something to do with the chicken noises, I think.

4. Homestar Runner - Once you get into it, these mini-movies are fantastic. And if you see hipsters or dorky teenagers in red shirts with white stars in the middle, this is where they came from.

5. World Beard Championship - My feelings of inadequacy are overshawdowed only by my desire to cut those ridiculous things off of their faces.

As I was brainstorming what sort of witty "Where's the beef?" (er, singley.org update - same thing), I was left with my mouth gaping open at the wonderous site of a November 3rd update. Welcome back, Eric. Welcome back.

Ahhhhhhhhhh. That felt good.

Damn you, Eric! Damn yooooooooou! I'm addicted to that damn fowl words now. Mutter mutter grumble harumph.

In the interest of getting some type of discussion going on Singley.org, I'm going to use your comment section, Eric, to conduct a little survey of your knowledgeable fan base (specifically Miss Rachel Friede)...

I'm DJing an 80s party here in Charlottesville in a couple weeks, and I'm trying to put together the ultimate collection of 80s hits to play and rock the house, in the hopes that doing a fantastic job here will get me more work in the future.

So, Friede (and everyone else) what are your essential 1980s songs?
